NJ Fit Mom is a supportive, positive place. We build each other up and encourage each other to work hard. It is a judgment free and negativity free zone. I will respect, encourage and support you, and I expect you will do the same for each other.


Where are you located?

Our Boot Camp takes place in Blairstown, NJ. We also do local small group/private training in your home or at our studio in Blairstown. 

Do you offer evening classes?

Our co-ed training program NJ Fit Elite offers 6 am, evening and weekend classes. www.njfitelite.com


What if I don’t have children? 


We have several non moms and moms of grown children that join us. All are welcome to sweat it out with us! Even dads and non dads!

Are you going to act like a drill instructor? 


I will not yell and get in your face. I will push and challenge you physically. All movements have variations to make it easier or harder to suit your level. My role as your coach is to educate, motivate, encourage, inspire, push, and ensure safety. You will be told to take breaks when you need to.You will never see me working out. I will always be monitoring your form and encouraging you to work hard.


What can I expect at Boot Camp?

No two classes will be alike! We often use interval training. Short high intensity periods of exercise alternated with less intense periods. These workouts are effective! Every boot camp is different. Our certified trainer incorporates core training, cardio, strength training, sport drills & more to create a fun and challenging experience. Some classes may require weights; others we will use only body resistance. We may use exercise balls, jump ropes, resistance bands, medicine balls and other equipment. It’s a great workout in an encouraging atmosphere! Each class lasts 45 min-1 hour.


Will I be sore sometimes?


It is normal to feel some soreness during the first week of camp.  However, your body will adjust and you will only feel slight to moderate soreness after a week of camp.


What if I'm not very physically fit?


NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Exercises are adapted to any level. I have had beginners to professionals in the same camp. Women of all ages and abilities participate. You will inspire and be inspired by others.


What about inclement weather? How do I know if class is cancelled? 


This is boot camp and class will go on in most weather. A little rain never hurts! If there is severe weather class will be moved to our indoor studio. Cancellations for any reason will be posted on our FB page. Make sure to like it and check in regularly for updates. You can view our FB posts without an account or you can find a friend on FB that can fill you in.


What do I bring to camp?

Please bring a pair of dumbbells (3 lbs and 5 lbs suggested), water bottle, towel/mat, and comfortable workout attire.


What if I can’t make it to class due to illness or otherwise?

Our class passes are flexible so you can make it to any class that works for your schedule. Best results come when committed to making every class but we understand life happens! We intentionally keep our per class price low and our pass length long enough to give you ample time to get all your classes in. Any unused classes do not roll over into another pass.


Can I bring my child/baby?

Of course! NJ Fit Mom aims to make it as easy as possible for moms with young ones at home. Your child is welcome to sit on a blanket nearby to watch or to join you as you get fit. When inside we have a play area for them. Moms need to keep a close eye on them for everyone's safety.

What is ELITE training?

It is a co-ed class that varies functional movement at a high intensity level. Routine is the enemy in fitness. We involve a variety of movements; olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, running, and more to ensure you are constantly challenging yourself and growing as an athlete. You can expect to see box jumps, weightlifting, pull ups, burpees, speed ropes, Kettlebell swings, and any other fun movement your trainer comes up with! Each session offers plenty of personal attention by our CrossFit L-1 trainers and all exercises are modifiable to meet you at your current level. We have beginning athletes and local competitors in the same class. Nobody will be left behind or unchallenged.
